She Ghost Busters 2016

Ever since the trailer for the 2016 Ghostbuster remake dropped it has become You Tubes most hated trailer. Directed by Paul Feig (Freaks and Geeks) and starring Kristin Wig, Melisa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones it was an unwanted surprise by fans after years of Ghostbusters III floating around into different incarnations. All hope of a Ghostbusters III was forever lost when actor Harold Ramis died in 2014. That death being the projects final nail in the coffin the only hope for a third Ghostbusters film was either remake. Due to these new Ghostbusters being all female there has been a lot of backlash with much divide. Some say its wrong to have female Ghostbusters, others are calling their critic sexist and misogynist. I've been following James Rolfe known as the angry video game nerd for over ten years now, and Rolfe has come under fire. His recent video for his You Tube channel Cinemassacre, saying that he will not be seeing the Ghostbusters reboot. He's come under fire, and I'm going to be blunt as well. I myself I am strong believer and supporter of women's rights, and consider myself to be a feminist. I enjoy female comedians, I love seeing them in action roles, I love seeing them in lead roles ect. We don't see enough strong female characters as we used to out there anymore, and in general we live a misogynist society. Females have to sexy sell really anything or at least decently good looking. Further toward my blunt statement. Was it wrong to have female Ghostbusters? My answer is yes, and before you start egging my apartment here my out! Given the time, and investment fans have put into a third Ghostbusters movie, an all female cast was just uncalled far. The extreme Ghostbusters cartoon features a female Ghostbusters named Kylie, and Jeanie has often joined into onto the action in comics and cartoons. So we have seen at least two female Ghostbusters before so why are we surprised or even mad. It just wasn't the right time due to fans investment. Yes were are living in diverse and changing time period where we are fighting for gay rights transgender rights, and above all woman's right. We have come a long way with woman's rights, and will have a female running for president soon. Again a third direct Ghostbuster sequel was tricky. The option I can picture we same universe but a new team, or going the Star Trek reboot route have the same characters with different actors filling the roles. If the new Ghostbusters with fans had been invested with had just gotten out there first then maybe we could invest in a all female Ghostbusters. It was just tossed at us so quickly it felt uncalled far. Call it what you like Ghostbusters 2016 all female Ghostbusters, I am dubbing it She Ghostbusters.
An all female cast doesn't seem to be the only problem with movie as what we have seen from the trailer. It some respects it looks like a lesser version of its predecessor reminding me of that god awful looking Haunted Mansion movie from years ago. The jokes dose seem as hard hitting nor as sharp as the original, and they seem like jokes you would see in any other movie.
There is no need to call out the difference or even explain the feminine and the masculine because the Ghostbuster use there wits, and intelligence with universal in both.
So are there any differences between male Ghostbusters, and female Ghostbusters no there is not. Its just not the right time we needed male Ghostbusters first. We might need a male Ghostbusters to make up for this, and Chris Hemsworth might have teased the idea in international trailer.
Dose She Ghostbusters have the potential to be good? Are we judging too much from its trailers. Its hard to hard to predict the success of a movie. This film could succeed or could fail, or it could divide. Demographics can often be tricky with things such entertainment or politics.
Ever since the dismal success of Ghost Busters II in 1989 the franchise has become sour, and if She Ghostbusters fails it rot the franchise from its core.
So above just how we have been given things like Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Megan Fox as April O' Neil She Ghostbusters was just uncalled for, and needed more time to fabricate.
